The Hillwood Property Group, owned by billionaire Jim Hillwood, is on the 2016 list of the most expensive properties in Hawaii.
According to the 2016 Honolulu real estate data, Hillwood owns properties valued at $1.5 billion and houses in Honolulu, Kaohsiung, Waikiki and Honolulu, Wa.
The Hillwood Group’s property portfolio includes nearly 1,000 properties, including more than 1,300 units in Honolulu.
While most of the Hill, Hill property holdings are in Hawaii, the Hill family owns properties in New York City and London, England.
For Hillwood’s most recent year-end report, Hill bought his second home on Oahu and moved to Manhattan in 2017, according to a Hillwood spokesperson.
He now owns about 5,500 square feet of land on the island of Oahu, according the Hill property representative.
Hillwood’s wife, Jane, is also a major shareholder in Hillwood.
Hillwood purchased his second house on Ouka on January 13, 2018, according a Hill representative.
