A man who picked up his wife’s old home in Minnesota has received $9 million in a cashier’s bonus from Appleton real estate.
Mark Schubert, who has lived in Appleton for more than a decade, said he and his wife bought the three-bedroom home in 2016.
Appleton is located on the south side of Minneapolis, a small suburb in the north suburbs.
He said the house was a rental property and it was his wife who paid the rent.
Schuber said he has lived at the home for 20 years and that it is a nice house with a great yard and a big garden.
He plans to make some improvements to the house, including installing a patio.
Schubert said he will spend some of his bonus to buy another home in the suburbs.
The couple lives in a $300,000 home in an affluent suburb and have three children.
Schuebert said they are trying to figure out how to save for a down payment on a new home.
Schuebert and his husband have a child together and said he doesn’t have a problem with his wife getting a raise.
He also said he wants to make sure his children have the best possible education.
