Fox News is reporting that Donald Trump’s legal team is “waiting on approval” from the president to buy out the president’s current Dallas skyscraper at 1620 NW 12th Street.
The Wall Street Journal reports that Trump’s attorney Michael Cohen is in the process of contacting “some” prospective buyers of the skyscraper, and it was not immediately clear whether any such negotiations had been finalized.
The article does not mention any potential buyers, but it is noteworthy given the amount of time it has taken for the Trump Organization to seek approval to buy the Trump Tower.
The Journal reported last week that the Trump family’s real estate business, which has been in a state of “developmental limbo” since the beginning of last year, is poised to begin selling properties in 2018.
However, the Journal reported that “Trump Organization officials have said they hope to have a formal announcement of a sale by early next year.”
